PREPARE/ENRICH is a customised couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple's strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. Based on a couple's assessment results, a trained facilitator provides 4-8 feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills.

Facilitators must attend one of our PREPARE/ENRICH Workshops held across Australia. The 2-day training includes all the materials you will need to get started using PREPARE/ENRICH in your community, as well as a complimentary online scoring credit.

1. Buying Conditions

All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars and include GST and postage. When buying an item, you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a purchase. You enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all express or implied warranties, terms and conditions including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

2. Returns Policy

You must contact our office first to make arrangements for your return, and complete a Customer Request for Return Form to accompany the return. All items in new condition may be returned within 20 days from date of purchase for either a refund or exchange. Shipping charges are not refundable. 

All product must be in resalable condition and are subject to inspection for damage or misuse prior to issuance of a credit. We cannot accept returns of certain items, including:

  • Any item(s) that is more than 20 days from date of purchase;
  • Any book or manual that has obvious signs of use;
  • Any DVD that has been opened (plastic wrap has been removed);
  • Any item damaged, incomplete or not in its original condition.

3. Security policy

When purchasing from PREPARE/ENRICH Australia, card details are transmitted through an application programming interface and are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. Card Details are not held by PREPARE/ENRICH Australia. We have partnered with PayWay, a simple, secure, internet-based solution to collect and manage customer payments, providing a secure (or host) environment to transact your credit card details during payment. PayWay supports direct debit, credit card, BPAY and Australia Post payments, enabling customers to pay over the counter, online or over the phone.

4. Privacy

5. Training Conditions

These terms and conditions apply in relation to any booking made by you with regards to Core and Going Deeper Facilitator Training and any other training provided by PREPARE/ENRICH Australia made via the National Office or via the PREPARE/ENRICH online booking system. The PREPARE/ENRICH online booking system is operated by the PREPARE/ENRICH Australia (ABN 65 162 790 687).

6. Fees and charges

The cost of Facilitator Training is $350 inc GST ($250 for an accompanying spouse) and includes:

  • The cost of the Core Training Day workshop and the Going Deeper Day;
  • A full Training Pack (containing a 95 page Facilitator's Manual on CD-ROM, two Training DVDs, a Resource Guide, sample Facilitator and Couple Reports, a Couple Workbook and workshop handouts);
  • A voucher (valid for 12 months) for attendance at a Going Deeper Day;
  • Access to the online Customised Version couple management system;
  • One free couple scoring (best used as a practice run to become familiar with the system);
  • The Core Training Day includes all aspects of the Customised Version necessary to enable and accredit the Facilitator to use the material immediately.

The Going Deeper Day is a follow-up and consolidation day. It will include some skills training and practice opportunities for working with feedback techniques and workbook exercises. Also, the day will cover selected content and processes relevant to working with step-families, mature age couples and conflicted couples. It may be taken when registering as part of a programmed two day arrangement, OR if that is not feasible or is not available, on a day to be chosen (within 12 months) from future Going Deeper workshops advertised on this webpage.

Facilitator Training Days are added as they become available.

No refunds will be given outside of this policy. If you have any concerns about whether your chosen Facilitator Training Workshop will be going ahead, please contact the PREPARE/ENRICH office within 14 days of the scheduled Training Workshop dates.

Refunds will be provided under the following circumstances:

  • A full refund will be provided if you cancel the booking >14 days or more prior to the scheduled Training Workshop date(s);
  • A 50% refund will be made if you cancel the booking 7 – 14 days prior to the scheduled Training Workshop date(s);
  • No refund will be made if you cancel the booking less than 7 days before the scheduled Training Workshop date.

Summary: 0 – 7 days = no refund; 7 – 14 days = 50% refund; 14 days or more = full refund

8. Postponement of scheduled Training Workshop dates

PREPARE/ENRICH may need to reschedule Training Workshop dates due to lack of participant registrations or other circumstances.

The following conditions apply:

  • Postponement of bookings can be made up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled Training Workshop date(s);
  • A full refund is available on any postponed booking.

9. Changes and cancellations by PREPARE/ENRICH Australia

Unforeseen operational issues (e.g. fires, floods) and management obligations may mean that the training cannot be provided. PREPARE/ENRICH will endeavour to find an alternative location and/or date that suits you. If the alternative is not acceptable to you the booking will be cancelled and a full refund provided.

PREPARE/ENRICH Australia will not be liable for any other losses you may incur as a result of this cancellation.

10. Termination by PREPARE/ENRICH Australia.

If you:

  • breach these terms and conditions;
  • causes annoyance or nuisance to others; or
  • behave unacceptably as deemed inappropriate by the Trainer;

PREPARE/ENRICH Australia may terminate your booking and ask you to leave the facility immediately. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
