With Your Couples
When you first meet with a couple and offer to work with them using one
of the Prepare-Enrich inventories we believe that it is very important
to work through a range of issues such as:
- What does the process of taking the Inventory involve?
- Prepare is not a test to be passed or failed.
- So what are the goals of taking the inventory and what will
the feedback sessions entail in general?
- Is confidentiality protected?
- Why is it important to answer individually and without
collusion?
- Why is it important to answer honestly?
- How will the feedback process be kept safe - perhaps
challenging and encouraging but not destructive and discouraging?
- What are the costs?
This session is also an important opportunity to form a working
relationship with couples and to spend time talking with them about how
they met and what attracted them to one another and their reasons for
wanting to become involved in the Prepare-Enrich program.
