It is necessary to have a simple one-currency process and since the international server is located in the USA the US dollar is the best way to proceed. We have set the cost of processing so that even with the exchange rate and credit card fees included the cost of the online system is very similar to that of Version 2000 (the hard copy paper and pencil version of Prepare-Enrich). Does this mean the payments go entirely overseas? What taxes are paid? Only the Australian GST. Simply divide your processing cost by 11 to calculate the GST component. There will be no overseas taxes - this will be shown as a zero on the receipt provided online. |
